With the coming of winter, the Sun travels South, bringing long dark nights punctuated with stars, snow and freezing rain. We acknowledge that the Gate Keeper of Winter is Yunsai, the White Buffalo. The totem of the White buffalo, positioned in the North on the Sun Wheel, teaching us our Divine Plan, focus on destiny, manifestation and success. The North represents the Wisdom Elders, and helps us to find the overall meaning and purpose of our lives. It also shows us where we need to eliminate what is weak and out of balance. As the Sun descends to its lowest point in the solar year, we celebrate the awakening of the Great Pine, which transmits a frequency that awakens the other trees. The Earth stops for a heartbeat, and then restarts, with the new beginnings of Spring, the new song.
