AGNI - A PATH FOR THE FUTURE (Author Unknown)

AGNI YOGA, a modern term, is often referred to as ethical living. The goal here is to aid the process of synthesis. Much purification of thought, devotion and physical lifestyle is done trying to upgrade each and blend truths into a usable pattern. The clearing of glamours and illusions is emphasized as is the practice of meditation to connect with the inner self. A pure life is sought, guided by inspiration, with a series of themes for direction rather than straight rules. Striving, duty, harmony and service are synthesized as one can. Each person moves ahead at their own pace, led from within. This movement is connected by many with the new age.

There are rays which are sent into the heart, invisibly and imperceptibly. They are most penetrative, and the organism must assimilate them. At first they evoke anguish, yet they are comparable to pure Fire. The one who sends experiences a manifestation of the highest joy, and the one who receives will manifest the same joy after assimilations. In the most sacred Mysteries, these rays are called "Agni Invisibilae".

The path of Agni for "fire" reminds us of the fervor of all those seeking oneness with God, Fire, the symbol of inspiration has always been used by saints and sages of the divine presence. Agni, a fervent approach of our time links us to the seekers of all time. They are:
